Welcome Family and Friends

Many of you have shared that with the distance between us you miss being a part of our family. This blog is a way for us to reach out and share a bit of our daily life with you. We realize that it is not the same as face-to-face relationships, but we hope it will bridge the gap between our visits with you and your families.

The Sights of Spring

Elias deciding what to do first

This morning the garden was calling out names, " Jonathan.....Lynnette.... come get your hands dirty." So, we gathered the wee ones and headed out to the garden.

And of course Mocha loves to be a part of the action.   We have roughly planned out how the rows will be spaced but one goal we had for this year's garden was that it would be watered with or without our thought.  We already had the "fence" up from last year which determined our boundaries and we needed to plan how to run the water through the garden for the irrigation water. And then we got to work while some of us watched.

I hope you enjoy seeing our progress. Our hope is that you will see lots of green this summer and yummy vegetables to show for all this hard work. I must say March has been a great work out month for me with digging, raking, hoeing and the like.

Happy Spring everyone.
