Welcome Family and Friends

Many of you have shared that with the distance between us you miss being a part of our family. This blog is a way for us to reach out and share a bit of our daily life with you. We realize that it is not the same as face-to-face relationships, but we hope it will bridge the gap between our visits with you and your families.

Lynnette's Teeth Are So White

Since I am forced to choose only 1 photo of our beautiful little primate, I will choose the photo that I took. Really. It's the best.

Observe the knitting needles at the local watering hole. Bundled up against the chill, they're looking rather cozy. Kindly disregard the fact that Joe is sitting in a teacup. He'd be embarassed.

Oh my gosh! A four-eyed, coffee-sucking anteater!!! And Lynnette said there'd be no room for sugar and cream...

If it's blurry, there's a reason.  This photo was posted in response to a remark made by a man that has not had children in a very long time and seems to be enjoying the fact a little too thoroughly.

Here we see the happy baby in its natural setting. She's obviously got milk, money, and moonbeams on the mind.

Yes, he got up there all by himself. More spectacular was the front flip with a 180 that he did to dismount, but the camera couldn't handle the badness.

Nana treated us to ice cream yesterday as a thank you for us letting her help us clean out our ditches.  We told her that it presented no difficulty for us whatsoever, though with the Economy the way it is, she might have to start paying for rake and wheelbarrow rentals in the future.

I just found this picture on a dvd today and thought I would share it. Don't ask me why.
It speaks to me.

  1. First of all, I laughed all through this post...classic Jonathan all the way. No one thinks like you! But you're right about the last picture...it's beautiful. I am loving your blog!! I'm so glad you guys decided to do it. I would do one too, but I think I'm already on the computer enough as it is...maybe one day soon though. There are definately enough interesting things happening in my life to post about...love you guys!! And I love Elias' haircut! He looks so much like both of you. Miss you all!
