Gwendolyn wearing Mommy's baby dress
Breast feeding is going well, though I would be fine if she didn't give me such horrible faces when I try to introduce her to some cereal. (You will have to imagine the photo since I am having issues transferring my photos from my camera to the computer - I will include them in the posts when I figure it out.)
Gwendolyn (or "Baby G." as Jonathan tries to find a name Elias can say - right now it is "y-y" perhaps because she catches his attention when she is crying) has two bottom teeth emerging. As far as we can tell she has only been fussy, but no ear infections so we are thankful.
And the biggest change for our little girl has been the change to cloth diapers. It means more work for poor mama, but it seems to be working out fine. We are very thankful to Grandma Jewel for helping us make this change. I spent too long trying to figure everything out but finally bit the bullet and purchased a variety to see what works best for us. If you would like to see where and what I purchased please go to http://www.babycottonbottoms.com/. Here's some links to show you what we found.
- thirsties diaper covers - 2
- thirsties duo covers-2
- prefolds- dozen
- flannel fitted diapers ( cover needed) -3
- thirsties AIO Pocket diaper-1
- liners-1 roll
- bags for dirty diapers I got a lavender and chocolate size big
Our little girl has lost a lot of her hair due to cradle cap, or rather the removal of the cradle cap. She is rolling all over the place and trying to get her knees up while holding herself up with her arms. So crawling may not be too far away. OH BOY! She still needs help sitting up but is getting stronger every day.
I hope these posts bring you joy and the pictures that will soon accompany them.
I checked out the diapers that you purchased. Wow, how cool. Would have been much easier on this mom if diapers like these had been available when my kids were small. (wink & smile) Looking forward to seeing the new pictures when you get them posted.
