Longer days means more time to figure out what to do with a toddler that won't sit still unless it is for a video. I have been looking all over for ideas of what to do with Elias and trying to set some type of schedule so I don't lose my mind. The picture above is an experiment to play a sort of twister game while learning shapes, colors and following directions. He does pretty well and actually can identify all the shapes but it tends to be a short lived game. Glue sticks were a good thought but he has trouble getting enough glue on the paper for it to stick so we might just have to go with the messy stuff... he might like that more anyway. =) Today we made pinecones covered in peanut butter and then rolled in bird seed. Messy, the dog wanted them, the squirrels commandeered them but it was something sorta fun...plus we got to eat some peanut butter afterwards. Yum!
If anyone has any ideas for me please leave a comment by clicking on the title of the post or on the word "# messages" at the bottom of the post and make sure to leave a name if you don't have an account so we know who to thank.
