Welcome Family and Friends

Many of you have shared that with the distance between us you miss being a part of our family. This blog is a way for us to reach out and share a bit of our daily life with you. We realize that it is not the same as face-to-face relationships, but we hope it will bridge the gap between our visits with you and your families.

I am a knitter, hear me roar.  This little knitting lioness is about to embark on a whole new adventure...sewing.  Yesterday, Jonathan and I went on a date/shopping trip to the Springs. Joann's was our first stop and I was delighted.
  • .99 cent Simplicity patterns - bought 8
  • clear ruler with angle marks
  • rotary cutter
  • self-healing mat - 24"x36"
  • Pinking shears
  • dressmaker pins (with big heads)  - 175ct
  • 5 tapestry needles (Elias is learning to sew with cardboard shapes that are holepunched)
Gwendolyn was a wonderful third wheel for the evening and Elias enjoyed time with his Nana.
